I believe deeply in the value of inclusion and of really deeply listening. People know their own lives and needs best, and we all succeed when we include their voices in the design of services and programs.
Anna is a strategic thinker and enjoys complex dynamic problem-solving. She has worked in global and domestic US public health for nearly 20 years. Her experience spans a variety of topics, including immunization, primary health care, HIV/AIDS, supply chain management, data for decision making, monitoring and evaluation, behavioral science, and design thinking. Anna has particular interest in social justice and anti-oppressive practices.
Prior to Sonder, Anna served for 9 years as a Senior Program Officer at Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, on the Immunization and Global Delivery Program Teams. Additional experience includes U.S. CDC, Idaho Department of Health and Welfare, the UCSF AIDS Health Project, and Peace Corps. She holds a BA in Science and Society and an MPH in Global Health.
