Gustavo Ojeda
I see technology not as the end, but as a vehicle—design and people give it purpose.
Gustavo is a Data Visualization Engineer with over two decades of experience in technology, spanning software development, data science, and interactive front-end design. For the past eight years he has focused on creating visual tools that make complex data accessible and meaningful, helping organizations use information more effectively.
He has led projects ranging from official gender equity observatories to digital government platforms, crime monitoring dashboards, and large-scale census reporting systems. His work blends strong technical foundations in JS frameworks/libraries, the Python ecosystem, and cloud-based BI tools with a design mindset that prioritizes clarity, accessibility, and user experience.
With a background in electronic engineering and postgraduate studies in multimedia and visual analytics, Gustavo brings a multidisciplinary perspective to his projects. He thrives at the intersection of data, design, and technology, collaborating closely with researchers, developers, and policy makers to turn data into actionable insight.
Outside of work, Gustavo is a passionate luthier. He spends his free time building musical instruments and experimenting with sound and electronics—a craft that, much like his professional work, combines precision and creativity.
